Encloses letter from Major George Warburton, chief magistrate of police, Ennis, County Clare, noting a survey and report are produced by Alexander Nimmo, civil engineer, for the planned initiative, which is of the ‘utmost importance’ in offering employment to the needy poor of district. Also letter from Henry Townsend, secretary, Irish Fishery Office, Dublin, to Gregory, seeking return of documentation created in connection with the harbour extension. Also letter from Townsend to Gregory enclosing various plans and specification [not present] connected with the proposal.
