Includes copy of legal case on behalf of the prothonotaries, prepared by William Kemmis, crown solicitor, Dublin, with copies of opinion of William Saurin, Attorney General, 9 July 1821, and opinion of Henry Joy, Solicitor General of Ireland, 2 May 1822, annexed below. Also includes 2 identical legal cases concerning the timing of payments of compensation to the prothonotaries, also prepared by Kemmis: one copy annotated with the response of William Conyngham Plunket, Attorney General of Ireland, 2[0]th February 1823, and the other copy annotated with the response of Joy, Solicitor General, 18 February 1823.
