Includes petition of Barr, Maghera, County Londonderry, to Richard Wellesley, 1st marquis Wellesley, Lord Lieutenant, Dublin Castle, concerning the question of remuneration for his medical attendance at a riot in Maghera on 12 June 1823. Notes that those in receipt of aid 'are entirely unable to pay me for either medicine or attendance', 12 July 1823. Barr encloses a list of the names of 13 wounded individuals treated by him, with information on their place of residence, and the nature of their wounds.
