Chell reports that some of the seed had already left for Dublin before he received the instruction, 29 May 1822.

Letter from George Harrison, Treasury Chambers, London, assistant secretary to the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury, to Henry Goulburn, Chief Secretary, Dublin Castle, concerning case of James White, tidewaiter at Kinsale, County Cork, who fell overboard from a brig and drowned. States the Lords Commissioners' opinion that his widow is not entitled to a pension, as White 'was not sober', when he fell, and therefore did not lose his life in the execution of his duty. Notes however, that they have authorized a payment of £10 to alleviate her distress.
