Includes letter from Major Richard Willcocks, Rathkeale, County Limerick, chief magistrate of police for County Limerick, to Grant, in reply to Grant's letter on the matter, and informing him that he once dismissed John McNamara from his post as sub constable in County Tipperary, for 'incourigible [sic] intoxication', though adding, that he believes him to be 'much reformed', 27 November 1821. |
